These wooden sculptures are composed of driftwood and fallen branches. I choose pieces of wood that suggest a figure or object and then further carve it or add to it as needed to manifest the complete form. I made my first driftwood angel years ago, after being inspired by a wing shaped piece of driftwood I found on the shore of Lake Erie.
